A gay judge TV show?

First off, sorry for the lack of entries lately, I've been a little busy getting ready for my trip to Las Vegas.

Apparently, there's a new gay judge television show... Judge David Young. Personally, I think the tagline of the show is pretty funny: Justice with a snap!"I object, Miss Thing!"

I imagine this judge maybe judging someone's fashion crime or something, but apparently he handles civil court cases ala People's Court. I haven't seen this show, and I don't even know what channel it airs on.

I want him to take on cases where maybe a bear leather daddy didn't pay his bar tab at the local gay bar... or maybe a case of the stolen Louis Vuitton bag, but really he justs handles cases labeled "Storage Fee Fiasco!" Riveting.

You can check out clips from his show and much more at his website:

Grey's Anatomy is keeping me entertained.

How can you not be in love with T.R. Knight's adorable character George? Even if George is an adulterer, he gives you the cutest gosh darn puppy dog looks. I spent the episode giggling like a schoolgirl at his clueless faces.

This, my friends, is the new face of gay!

However... I am hating just about every other character (excluding Patrick Dempsey aka McDreamy). Katherine Heigl's Izzy has me on my last NERVE, honey! If it were possible, I'd reach inside the T.V. and smack the blonde out of her! Pompeo's Grey has always been selfish and wretched, while I want more from Sandra Oh's character. I think I love Grey's Anatomy because it gives you a taste of ER, without making you have an anxiety attack. There were moments, though, during the whole run of the show which made my breath stop short, but generally I enjoy the comedic relief.

The season premier was great with it's meth-addict-toddler-that-had-a-stroke-from-withdrawl storyline. The recent episode had a O-M-G moment when all my roomates and I were screaming while hiding our faces. The moment when the asshole resident, Alex, stuck the needle up that kids eye socket. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! I can't do eyeball stuff. It reminds me of the movie Hostel... Bleh!

The reason I call him an asshole is because he told all the interns that George was a failed intern from last year, and embarrassed him in front of all the other interns. UGH! He's another person I want to smack, or shove a needle in his eye! He's had his non-asshole moments, but they are few. Aaaaayyyaannnd, in typical Grey fashion, they left us with a huge cliffhanger! "I slept with Izzie." Who says that as the first sentence of cheating confession?? I guess clueless adorable George. Oh well, Callie was emasculating him anyway... She's an heiress remember? She'll get over it!

Oh, and I just saw Kate Flannery, who plays Meredith on NBC's The Office, on Jay Leno, and the clip they showed had me rolling on the floor! In the clip, Michael Scott (Stever Carell) is driving his car while talking to a camera man (whom is in the passenger seat), and while he's not looking where he's going (in the Dunder-Mifflin parking lot no less) he actually hits Meredith! She rolls over the hood, and Michael gives you the "Oh shit!" face. Hahaha! I'm definitely going to tune into this season more often. I catch it when I can, but I'm unsure as to when it actually is on... Well, I'll make sure to keep an eye on it!

Remember, you can watch the full episodes of Grey's Anatomy (if you missed them or want to see them again) at www.abc.com and The Office at www.nbc.com/theoffice

Kelly Vs. Britney

I hate to keep bringing her up, but you have to see this mash-up of Brit's new music video against Kelly's "Shoes" video. I am gagging! It is such a great mash-up, and puts the song on a whole new level. So, enjoy!

Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Across the Universe

I know I'm not the only one who is creaming themselves with desire for this sequel. Cate Blanchett is one of the most stunning actresses on screen and off screen. She turned it at the 2007 Oscar awards and never fails to bring the fashion to the red carpet. I was floored when I saw her in the movie Babel. There was a short scene in the beginning of the movie where she and Brad Pitt were arguing about their relationship. That scene made the movie for me. I loved the irony of how two people speaking the same language couldn't even understand each other. That movie spoke to me.

Cate Blanchett turning it at the 2007 Oscars

The first Elizabeth movie was amazing. It had some incredibly awesome moments. The moment where she is betrayed by her lover, and decides to marry her country sticks in my mind as iconic. It seems fortune has smiled on me this weekend. It is not only my birthday, but I will also be treated to a showing of this splendid movie.

This bitch is fierce.

Also this weekend, Across the Universe (The Beatles jukebox movie musical) is scheduled for wide release. I still want to see it, but all those reviews about it being a joke to the counterculture of the 60's makes me not want to see it as badly. I did, however, purchase a soundtrack recording of Across the Universe. The reviews for the movie have been terrible, and I'll admit it is a bit karaoke-ish, but there is some great singing done on the soundtrack. I would have to say the weakest singing comes from Evan Rachel Wood. I'll watch the movie (maybe this weekend) and post my own review as an avid musical lover.

Kylie Minogue Sunday

Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE Kylie Minogue? She's one performer I would love to see live. Unfortunately, most of her tours are through Europe and Australia. Ever since her comeback with "Can't Get You Out of My Head" in 2001, I remember reading about her in magazines, and I remember how badly I wanted to get my hands on her music.

Kylie is about to release a new album entitled, "X." Perez Hilton has been posting embedded released tracks on his website, and I have enjoyed all the songs I've heard immensely.

I don't know if you remember a movie back in the 90's called "Street Fighter" that was based on Capcom's best-selling fighting video game series, but Kylie was actually in that movie as the character "Cammie" who is supposed to be a military girl from the UK. Anyway, I'm glad to see that she made it out of the same fate that the others in that movie faced.

Check out this Manchester performance from the opening number of her Fever Tour. It really gives you a "Metroid" vibe, and the song is very catchy. I find myself singing it all the time. Oh, and keep an ear out for her new singles.

M.I.A.'s new Music Video!

M.I.A. is one of my favorite artists lately. I can't seem to get tired of her music with it's ethnic beats and addicting breakdown sections. I heard her song "Bucky Done Gone" for the first time at a bar with some juices and berries in my system, and I couldn't stop dancing to it every time it got to the dance section. It was then I knew I had been hooked.

Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam (July 17, 1977) is a British vocalist, songwriter, composer, record producer and visual artist of Sri Lankan Tamil origin. Now, she is starting to gain popularity in the United States. I think she is A-mazing! Here is her most recent music video "Boyz."

Brit's Gimme More a success!

Finally some good news for Ms. Britney Spears. According two Billboard.com, Britney's recently released single "Gimme More" has reached #1 on the digital downloads charts, and it went from it's debut spot #68, all the way to #3 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart. That's good news, right?

You know, I bet everyone is tired of hearing about her, but I actually feel a little bad for her. She's been performing since she was, what, 15 years old? 10 years later, she allegedly gets addicted to crystal meth, shaves her head in a near mental breakdown, and doesn't stop her partying. It's easy to see that she wasn't able to live her life as a normal teenager. I guess it's the same syndrome that happens when girls graduate from Catholic school. She has made some really poor decisions, especially marrying a back-up dancer and having two kids with him.

I can't imagine how tough it must be to face paparazzi that would kill babies to get pictures of you. There was an incident where one of the photographers accidentally hit one of her kids. Then the tabloids choose the worst pictures and put you in a 'Stars without makeup' spread, or call you fat. I don't know if I could handle that, but by the same token it's part of being a celebrity.

Anyway, here is her newly released music video for her single "Gimme More." I don't know about this one. I was told that she pretty much designed this whole video herself. She fired her management team, and when they brought in the wardrobe for her video shoot, she vetoed the costumes. Then, she went with her own style. This was the result:

Let me know what you think!

I love the French!

I am in love with the music from Yelle. I was first attracted to her by a music video I saw on youtube with the "A Cause des Garçons" Remix Tepr Video featuring Tecktonik. She gained popularity through myspace by posting a song called "Short Dick Cuizi" which she wrote to make fun of a member of Parisian hip-hop group TTC. Bad breakup, maybe? Shortly after she released her debut album after the success of the song "Je Veux Te Voir" (a finalized version of "Short Dick Cuizi").

Well, as far as I'm concerned she can do whatever she wants if she keeps making these addicting songs! Laaaawd! Check her out on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/iloveyelle
